Why do so many skin types need a high-quality skin care oil?

Our skin is exposed to a wide variety of influences every day. Some skin types tolerate stress better than others. Especially people with sensitive skin should think about appropriate body care. They do not necessarily have to belong to the sensitive skin type by nature. Office and heating air as well as stress also have a negative effect on the largest human organ. While normal, oily and mixed skin rather have to cope with other problems, people with dry or sensitive skin type are plagued by cracked spots or tension. A high-quality massage oil nourishes every skin type and even helps against cellulite.

Which oils are used most frequently as body oil?

Massage oils used in massages consist of one or more base oils. They may also contain essences and essential oils. They also support the effect of the base oils. But which oils function particularly frequently as a base oil?

  • Almond oil
  • Argan oil
  • Sunflower oil
  • Jojoba oil
  • Grape seed oil
  • Avocado oil

In addition to those mentioned, there are of course other oils that can be contained in a massage oil.

Why do almond oil, argan oil and other body oils care so efficiently?

Argan oil, almond oil and similar oils have extremely positive effects on dry skin and sometimes benefit other skin types. However, people with oily skin types, for example, should be careful not to use products containing too much avocado oil. This oil has a particularly refattening effect and is more suitable for people with dry skin types. This is because dry skin lacks fat and moisture, so itching, tension and a dry skin feeling are part of everyday life for those affected. Some people also suffer from dry skin and acne. In this case I recommend an acne treatment.

Is nourishing body oil used as part of an aroma oil massage?

Yes, massage oil is used by masseurs as a lubricant and an important aid in providing a pleasant experience. Applied thinly and with gentle pressure in the form of circular movements, a care oil with argan oil, jojoba oil and other components unfolds its effect. It makes your skin softer and relieves itching as well as tension. A high-quality, caring massage oil provides your probably most sensitive organ with everything it needs. You can also relax in your area during a Thai massage with body oil. Hopefully you can forget the tension of everyday life and do your largest organ good by intensive body care.

Different oils have different effects

Jojoba oil moisturizes the protective layer of the body, almond oil provides important nutrients such as vitamins. Nourishing oils also help women against cellulite.

Wrinkles, scars, cellulite, stretch marks or other stretch marks disturb us when we look in the mirror. Our skin texture influences how comfortable we feel in our body. Microneedling can help!

What is microneedling?

Microneedling is a minimally invasive, non-surgical procedure in which microneedlings (very fine needles) are briefly inserted into the skin. The skin is very slightly injured when the microneedles briefly penetrate. Blood circulation is stimulated by the minimal irritation. The increased metabolic processes promote the renewal of cells and thus the regeneration of the skin. The body’s own substances, such as hyaluronic acid, elastin and collagen, are increasingly produced. They contribute to fine pores and a smooth, firm surface.

Fields of application

The procedure is used to reduce skin unevenness. This includes scars, stretch marks, cellulite, wrinkles and unevenness caused by past acne. It is also used for scalp problems, hair loss and skin discoloration. (The procedure not suitable for hair removal. Many practices that offer needling also perform methods of hair removal, such as waxing or laser treatments). Skin areas of the face, neck, décolleté, scalp, thighs and bottom can be treated.

Some stars prefer microneedling to other beauty treatments, as it stimulates the regenerative ability which improves the skin’s appearance in the long term and contributes to skin rejuvenation. Stretch marks and cellulite are fought to look crisp on bikini photos.

Wichtige Hinweise

Microneedling Instruments

Dermaroller

This hand-held device, on whose cylinder-like roller approx. 200 microneedlings are placed, is guided over the to be treated skin area. Due to the shape of the roller many inclined puncture channels are created. Large areas on thighs, buttocks and abdomen can be treated. For example, you can do something about your cellulite or stretch marks yourself. Unfortunately, the needle length of the Dermaroller cannot be changed. Make sure that the needles on your Dermaroller are made of surgical stainless steel. The better the quality of the instrument, the less pressure must be exerted during treatment. This leads to less pain.

Dermapen

This “pen” with a special needle head is guided vertically over the skin areas, whereby an electric motor performs a constant up and down movement of the needle. Compared to the Dermaroller, the dermapen allows more precise punctures through the vertical one stitch channel. Use a dermapen where the needle length is variable, several speed levels can be selected and heat pulses are emitted. This makes the punctures particularly painless.

Costs due to needling

Costs incurred depend on the device used, the type of treatment (self-treatment, cosmetic or medical needling) and additionally used skin rejuvenation care products. 30 ml of a serum with hyaluronic acid for self-treatment costs about 30 $. For instruments for home use you have to spend 100 to 200 $. Professional treatment can cost 1000 $ and more. For example, if you want to correct hair loss or thin hair, several sessions at intervals of about three months are necessary. The costs can be over 4000 $. If microneedling is necessary to remove scars from burns, the health insurance often covers the costs.
